Golf

Students will learn how to grip a golf club and practice their hand-eye coordination, while improving their overall physical fitness.

Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course using as few strokes as possible. The game is played on a course with 18 holes, each with a teeing ground, fairway, rough, hazards, and a green with a flagstick and cup. The goal is to complete each hole in the fewest number of strokes (or 'shots') as possible. Golfers compete against each other or against the course itself. The winner of the game is the player with the lowest stroke total for the round or tournament. Golf can be played individually or in teams, and is a sport enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels. It requires skill, patience, focus and physical fitness to play well.
